Brinjal. Nymphs and adults are usually found on the ventral surface of leaves. Symptoms of damage are leaves with yellow patches, soiled with exuviae and excreta; presence of yellowish brown, flat, lace-like adults on the dorsal surface and spiny black nymphs on the under surface of leaves.
