Adult irregularly oval, flattish, or slightly convex with marginal indentations opposite the stigmatic orifices. Grown up females with prominent ridge arising from anal plate extending inwards for more than one-fourth the total length of the insect. Colour dark ochreous in the medial area which becomes lighter towards margin. Younger examples with transparent submarginal area.
