Female round or broadly oval. Initial stages dull yellow or light brown. With age, the female becomes almost spherical broader towards anterior and tappers towards anal plate. The anal plate darker than the body and the portion below anal plate looks like funicle of a seed. Colour of the female shining caramel. The female possesses ridges and depressions just above the anal plate. The main ridge arises just above the anal plate and reaches up to the anterior most segment of the abdomen. Five pairs of ridges are formed on both sides of this main ridge which give rise to five depressed areas around the main ridge.
