Adult female oval, strongly convex above, the lateral areas are formed by two semi circular shell-like plates with pattern of concentric semi circular radial curves. These plates meet in the median area forming a roof like triagular plates. The peripheral areas having fine marginal setae. Colour of the insect yellowish brown with median longitudinal area and anal plate brown with lighter radial curves.
