Diagnosis

Female macroptera: Body yellow infused brown, abdom­inal tergites IX–X brown; antennal segments I–III brownish yellow, IV brown with pale base, V–VII brown, brown apically, VIII pale brown; forewing pale with median light brown band, apex pale, clavus pale. Head with brownish tinge laterally; ocellar setae III just behind the anterior ocellus; 4 post­ocular setae pairs. Antennae 8-segmented, III and IV each with a forked sense cone. Pronotum yellow shaded brown medially, posteromar­ginal setae 6 pairs. Meta­notum reticulated medially, longitudinally striated laterally campaniform sensilla absent; median setae pair well behind anterior margin. Forewing first vein with 6 basal, 1 median and 2 distal setae, longest setae not longer than the wing width, second vein with 4 setae. Abdominal tergites II–VII with well developed craspedum; VIII with postero­marginal comb of long microtrichia; IX with ante­rior pair of campaniform sensilla; X with incomplete dorsal split. Abdominal sternites without discal setae and craspedum, II with 2 posteromarginal setae pairs, III–VII each with 3 posteromarginal setae pairs, median setae on VII arise a little ahead of the posterior margin.

Male macroptera: Similar to female but smaller and have uniform yellow body. Abdominal sternites III–VII with transverse pore gland.
