Diagnosis
Female macroptera: Body and legs yellow; forewing having a dark cross band in the middle of wing. Antennae 8 segmented, III–IV each with a forked sensorium, major sense cones on V and VI arise from greatly elongate base. Head conically projecting in front of eyes; ocellar setae III 1.5 times as long as an ocellus and arising between anterior margins of posterior ocelli; mouth cone large. Pronotum slightly wider at posterior than anterior. Metanotal sculpture weak; median setae behind anterior margin. Forewing slender, curved, first vein with 3 widely spaced distal setae; second vein with 4 widely spaced setae. Abdominal tergites II–VIII with craspedum. Abdominal sternites III–VII without discal setae; median setae on VII arising anterior to posterior margin.
