Diagnosis
Female macroptera: Body yellow, pale grey markings on pronotum laterally and metascutellum, prominent grey markings on abdominal tergites; pale forewing with 2 transverse dark bands. Antennae 8 segmented, III–IV each having a long forked sense cone. Head with long ocellar setae pair III, arising on anterior margins of ocellar triangle; postocular setae small, pair I close together behind hind ocelli. Pronotum with 6 pairs of very long setae; one pair of discal setae on posterior third. Metanotum with feeble reticulatiom; median setae arising at anterior margin. Forewing first and second veins each with 5–7 long setae. Abdominal tergite VIII without posteromarginal comb. Abdominal sternites without discal setae, setae S1 on VII arising anterior to posterior margin.
