Nomenclature

Arathrips cus Bhatti, 1967: 16.

Diagnosis

Female macroptera: Body dark brown. Head with short interocellar setae within the ocellar triangle; postocular setae not uniserial, pair II displaced to median. Antennae 8 segmented. Metanotum with median setae at anterior margin. Legs yellow, except the brown border of fore and mid femora and the distal two-thirds of hind femur. Forewing pale. Abdominal tergites and sternites with well developed, continuous posteromarginal flange.
