Diagnosis

Female macroptera: Body brown; antennal segment III yellow to light brown; 2 stout dark apical setae on hind tibiae; brown forewing with pale base and a sub apical pale area. Antennae 8 segmented, III–IV each with a forked sense cone. Head with ocellar pair III on anterior margins of ocellar triangle. Pronotum with 3 pairs of posteromarginal setae. Metanotum with feeble sculpture; median setae at anterior margin. Forewing first vein with uniform setae row before sub apical gap followed by 2 setae. Abdominal tergite VIII with posteromarginal comb having slender microtrichia but absent medially. Abdominal sternites without discal setae; VII with median pair of marginal setae anterior to margin.

Male macroptera: Similar to female but paler and smaller; abdominal tergite IX posterior margin lacking paired setiform processes, posterolaterally with a pair of short, stout setae; abdominal sternites without pore glands.
