Diagnosis

Female macroptera: Body yellow to brown; legs yellow fused with brown; forewing pale with dark setae. Antennae 8 segmented, III–IV each with a forked sensorium. Head with ocellar pair III longer than distance between outer margins of hind ocelli, on anterior margins of ocellar triangle; postocular setae pair I present, pair IV as long as ocellar pair III. Pronotum with anteromarginal setae slightly shorter than anteroangulars, a pair of minor setae present medially between posteromarginal submedian setae. Metanotum with median setae pair at the anterior margin. Abdominal tergite VIII with complete posteromarginal comb, with minute slender microtrichia arising from triangular bases. Abdominal sternites III–VII without accessory setae.

Male macroptera: Similar to female but smaller; abdominal tergite VIII without posteromarginal comb; IX with median dorsal setae pair shorter than lateral pair; abdominal sternites III–VII each with a transverse pore plate.
