Diagnosis
Female macroptera: Body yellowish brown. Head with ocellar pair III within ocellar triangle; postocular setae pair I just behind ocelli, pairs III and IV long and stout, in a transverse row. Antennae 8 segmented; III and IV with a forked sense cone. Pronotum with conspicuous sculpture lines, anterior margin with 4–7 setae pairs, posterior margin with 8 setae pairs of which a long pair of posteroangular setae. Metanotum sculptured, median setae pair behind anterior margin. Forewing yellowish brown, pale base; first vein with 3 far apart setae on distal half; second vein with 4 widely separated setae. Abdominal tergites I and II with transverse striations, III–VII without any median sculpture, II–VII with broad craspedum along posterior margin; VIII with posteromarginal comb; IX with prominent mid dorsal setae, anterior campaniform sensilla present. Abdominal sternites without accessory setae.
