Diagnosis
Female macroptera: Body greyish brown. Forewing brown with a sub basal pale area. Legs brown. Head with dense transverse striae with wrinkles among them; occipital apodeme touching posterior eye margin. Ocellar setae III situated in front of posterior ocelli, inside ocellar triangle. Antennae 8 segmented, III and IV with a forked sensorium. Pronotum outside of blotch reticulate; distance between two anteromarginal median setae more than or nearly equal to length of setae. Pronotal blotch covered with dense transverse striations, anterior angles extended forward to form protruding ends, 3 pairs of anteromarginal setae, 1 seta each on lateral margin, 2 pairs of posteromarginal setae. Metanotum with median irregular reticles, with wrinkles. Forewing with complete setae row on first vein, second vein without setae. Abdominal tergite I with microtrichial rows laterally, II–VII with dense microtrichial rows on areas lateral to submedian setae, II–VI with posteromarginal comb, minute medially; VII and VIII with complete posteromarginal comb. Abdominal sternites without discal setae.
Male macroptera: Similar to female but smaller. Abdominal sternites V–VII each with a transverse pore gland.
