Diagnosis

Female macroptera: Body blackish brown with polygonal reticulations, legs brown except yellow tarsi; forewing grey. Antennae 8 segmented; segments III and IV with 2 sense cones having a common base inserted deep within the socket. Forewing apical half with 3 calluses between the costal and anterior veins; anterior margin without fringe cilia, straight posterior fringe cilia; wing apex strongly rounded. Abdominal tergites reticulate fully; I with constricted posterior submedian areas, II–X with strongly reticulate median depressed area with wrinkles, VIII with complete comb of long microtrichia.

Male macroptera: Similar to female but smaller. Sternites III–VII each with a large transverse pore gland.
