Pseudodendrothrips suvarna Bhatti, 1997: 297.

Diagnosis

Female macroptera: Body bicoloured; head and thorax brown, abdomen pale yellow; forewing brown. Antennae 8 segmented, but frequently with a partial ventral suture on segment VII. Pronotum with closely spaced transverse reticulation, transverse internal apodeme interrupted at middle. Metanotum with closely spaced longitudinal striae along mid line, with wrinkles between the lines; median pair almost at middle or a little ahead. Forewing first vein with 3 setae in proximal third, 3 setae in distal half, second vein without setae. Abdominal tergite I with a pair of well developed setae at middle; II–VIII smooth medially; VIII with complete comb at posterior margin; IX with 3 rows of long and stout microtrichia in posterior half, 5 pairs of strong setae along posterior margin; X with 2 rows of microtrichia. Abdominal sternites II–VII with marginal setae ahead of posterior margin.
