Diagnosis
  • Face entirely black
  • Scutum yellowish brown with elongate narrow sublateral vittae extending to scutellum
  • Abdomen black with median yellow patch from tergites 1-4.
  • Wing entirely brown/black with hyaline spots
Host plants

They are saprophytic in habit and are often breeding in wooden logs

Distribution
