Diagnosis
  • First flagellomere pointed apically
  • Scutellum with three broad black patches
  • Costal band continous from cell sc to wing apex, subapical band joined to costal band
DIstribution

Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Tripura, Uttarakhand, West Bengal (Agarwal and Sueyoshi, 2005; David et al., 2014)

Host plants

Shoots of Bambusa tulda, Dendrocalamus asper and D. membranaceus, Dendrocalamus strictus  ( Hancock and Drew, 1999; Kapoor, 1993 ) .
