Diagnosis

Large sized fly (10-12 mm lomg)

Scutum dark brown to black with narrow yellow lateral postsutural vittae and a medial yellow vitta.

Costal band extends from subcostal cell to the apex of wing and with a prominent subapical band

Abdomen medially yellow with black lateral markings on all tergites
