Diagnosis
- Face yellow without any markings
- Scutum orange-yellow with a prominent yellow medial postsutural vitta and a pair of sublateral black vittae from posteior to anterior margin indistinct from transverse suture to anterior notopleural seta.
- Wing predominantly hyaline with subapical band, radial-medial band and apex black
- Abdomen reddish-brown with lateral black vittae on tergites 1-4.
Host plants
Larvae of C. luteifasciatus develop inside flowers of Argyreia nervosa (Convolvulaceae)
