Taxonomic position

Diagnosis
- Scutum black with yellow lateral postsutural vittae and medial vitta.
- Wing with costal band confluent with vein R2+3.
- Males lack pecten on 3rd abdominal tergite.
- It shows sexual dimorphism with respect to facial spots. Face of male is entirely yellow, without facial spots whereas female possess transverse black line above the mouth opening.
