Taxonomic position

Diptera: Brachycera: Tephritoidea: Tephritidae: Dacinae: Dacini

Diagnosis
  • Scutum brownish to black with yellow lateral postsutural and medial vittae.
  • Two separate black facial spots.
  • Wing with costal band from cell sc to wing apex overlapping vein R2+3, expanded apically into a spot.
  • Abdomen fulvous with prominent T-shaped mark and lateral black patches on tergites III-V.
  • Male with pecten on third abdominal tergum.
