Taxonomic position

Diptera: Brachycera: Tephritoidea: Tephritidae: Dacinae: Dacini

Diagnosis
  • A predominantly orange-brown species with separate black spots on fulvous face.
  • Scutum red brown with yellow medial and lateral post sutural vittae.
  • Wing with costal band broad, confluent with vein R4+5, paler between R2+3 and R4+5, expanded into a large spot in apex; band along r-m cross vein and along dm-cu cross vein as also an anal streak present.
