Taxonomic position

Diagnosis
  • Scutum black with yellow lateral and medial vittae.
  • Medial vitta broadened posteriorly and narrowed apically.
  • Face with black spots in the antennal furrows extended laterally forming a line across the mouth opening.
  • Wing with costal band continuous from cell sc to wing apex; costal band not overlapping vein R2+3.

Trichosanthes palmata Roxb., T. anguina L., Lycopersicum esculentum (L.) Karst., Bryonia laciniosa L., Citrus sp, Cucurbita moschata (Duch.) Poir (Kapoor, 1993).
