The ICAR-National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources (NBAIR), Bangalore, is one of the Designated National Repositories (DNR) for agriculturally important insects, mites and spiders by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) as per F. No. 26-15/2007-CSC dated 12^th September, 2012. The ICAR-NBAIR has a reference collection of agriculturally important insects, including type material.
