Diagnosis
  • Elongate, widest across the thorax, tapering towards the apex of the elytra
  • Head with the clypeus as long as the mandibular plate
  • Fore femur with a strong spine in the midway
  • Thoracic spines straight in front and emarginate behind, giving a sub-bifid appearance
  • Posterior angles of the last abdominal segment spinous
