Diagnosis
  • Head with jugae slightly longer than tylus.
  • Antenna with first segment not reaching apex of head.
  • Pronotum with anterolateral margins concave, serrate
  • Humeri bispinously produced
  • Basal abdominal sternite with short tubercle
Male Genitalia:

Genital capsule with dorsal rim broadly and deeply excavated with straight median region, ventral rim wih small 'U'-notch medially; paramere with crown narrowed apically, apex pointed; process of aedeagus fused; aedeagus short and curved.

Puducherry: Mahe (Salini, 2006). Punjab: Amritsar, Patiala, Gurdaspur (Kaur, et al., 2012). Sikkim (Atkinson, 1888). Tamil Nadu: Aiyur (Chatterjee, 1934), Javadi hills (Hegde, 1995). Uttarakhand: Kumaon, Dehradun (Chatterjee, 1934). Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad, Pipalsana (Azim, 2011). West Bengal: Kolkata (Atkinson, 1888). Most parts of India (Hegde, 1986b).

Comments:

This species can be easily be recognised by the two white longitudinal stripes on lateral margins of brownish corium.
