Diagnosis

Female: Length 1.14-2.00 mm. Body normally dark orange brown; legs testaceous to brown; scape testaceous to brown; flagellum dark brown; fore wings mostly dark brown with a variable pattern of hyaline areas, but normally hyaline at base, two hyaline spots below submarginal vein, one on anterior wing margin at apex of venation and one opposite on posterior wing margin, one distad of this in disc of wing occasionally extending to posterior wing margin and apex narrowly hyaline; hind wing completely hyaline.

Distribution

India: Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh (Hayat, 2006 & Noyes, 2013).
