Biology / hosts

This species of Aprostocetus, hitherto misidentified as A. gala Walker, is a potential parasitoid of erythrina gall wasp (Quadrastichus erythrinae) in India. It is close to A. felix La Salle, Yang & Lin, identified from Taiwan on erythrina gall wasp. Further studies, including molecular characterization, are needed to identify the Indian populations.
