Diagnosis | : | Body is Oval shaped with shiny black to ferrugineus colour; Head punctate as broad as long, dorsum partially covered with eyes; Rostrum basally broad, dilated upto antennal insertion, rounded transversely as long as head and pronotum combined, as long as broad basally. Antennae inserted from base of rostrum with scape clavate, shiny, impunctate, as long as funicle and club combined, funicle with six antennomeres; Elytra punctatostriate; Tibia moderately straight, grooved beneath, provided with a row of setae on each side of groove; uncinate, uncus arising from middle of tibial apex, apically curved downwards, punctures aligned into pubescent striae; Venter shiny black, sternites uniformly punctate. |
