Diagnosis | : | Rostrum red-brown, as long as broad, running parallel from base to apex; epistome long, not carinate; lateral areas each with a broad carina running straight from scrobe to eye and a squamose sulcus above and below it; mentum with 5-6 setae; Antennae dark-brown, moderately long, funicle with joint 2 longer than 1; Prothorax red-brown, as long as its width at apex, broadest at base, anterior margin sub-truncate, with feeble ocular lobes and fine vibrissae laterally; Elytra reddish-brown, oblong, convex, running parallel from base to behind middle and narrowing towards apex, with apices jointly sinuate and shoulders rectangularly rounded. |
