Diagnosis	:	Greyish brown with small darker spots along the striae. Rostrum very slightly narrowed from base to apex. Elytra with narrow, finely punctate stria; vestiture minute and discernible with difficulty; scales on the intervals almost circular.
Host	:	Maize, pearl millet, sorghum, Setaria italica, cotton, blackgram, soybean, cowpea, berseem, guar, okra, ribbed gourd, almond, sannhemp, hollyhock, rose; attracted to light.
Distribution	:	Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, New Delhi, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu
