Diagnosis	:	Rostrum a slightly broader at the apex. Prothorax as almost long as broader, with a central pale grey stripe and a short basal stripe on each side of it. Elytra with broad, coarsely punctate striae scales long and recumbent.
Host	:	Wheat, rice, maize, sorghum, pearl millet, finger millet, cotton, sugarcane, jute, moth bean, sweet potato, mango, fig, ber, banana, litchi, bael, lemon, guava, loquat, mulberry, okra, pumpkin, moringa, lucerne, teak, daincha, sesbania, Eriobotrys japonica, Acacia, Dalbergia sisoo; attracted to light.
