Diagnosis	:	Rostrum as long as broad, dilated towards apex; antennae with two basal joints of funicle equal; prothorax more or less deeply bisinuate at the base; elytra separately rounded at the base and with 6 striae not reaching the base; scutellum rounded at front; inter coxal process of mesosternum without any elevation.
Host	:	Cotton, tur and field bean.
Distribution	:	West Bengal: Calcutta; Orissa; Mumbai, Mysuru, Belgaum, Coimbatore, Chennai, Nilgiri hills, annamaai hills and Athurrapam (salem), Madura, Kallar, Teppukadu.
