Brief diagnosis

Female: Head wider than high. Clypeus longer than wide and truncated apically. Antenna with 12 articles. Mandibles longer than clypeus and distinctly cross each other. Gena narrower than eye in lateral view. Mesosoma with pretegular carina and mid tibia with 1 spur. Metasoma petiolated and with 6 mestasomal segments. Colour: Frons, clypeus, occiput, antennae and gena yellow. Mandibles reddish brown. Ocellar region black. Mesosoma dark red with yellow pronotum and basal half of mesoscutum. Wings yellow hyaline basally. T1 dark red with black basal band. T2 dark red in basal 1/3rd, black transeverse band in middle and apical ½ yellow. T2-T6 yellow.
Male: Same as that of female except, metasoma 7 segmented and antennae with 13 articles of which last article is hoked and touches the base of 10th article.
