Brief diagnosis

Female: Head wider than high. Clypeus as wide as high and truncated apically. Mandibles longer than the clypeus and distinctly cross each other. Gena narrower than the eyes in lateral view. Antennae with 12 articles. Mesosoma with pretegular carina and mid tibia with 1 spur. Metasoma petiolated and with 6 metasomal segments. Colour: Clypeus, gena, frons, occiput and ventral scape yellow. Ocellar region black. Antennae brown. Mandibles reddish brown. Pronotum, mesopleuron and metanotum yellow, rest of the mesosoma dark red. Wings yellow hyaline basally. T1 dark red in basal 1/3rd, black transeverse band in the middle and yellow in apical 1/2. T2-T6 yellow.
Male: Same as that of female except, metasoma 7 segmented and antennae with 13 articles of which last article is hoked and touches the base of 10th article.
