Brief diagnosis

Female: Head wider than long. Clypeus truncated apically. Mandibles longer than the length of clypeus. Antennae with 12 articles. Mesosoma as wide as high and globular in lateral view. Pronotum with pretegular carina. Mid tibia with 1 tibial spur. Metasoma petiolated and with six metasomal segments. S2 with median longitudinal groove. Colour: Clypeus, frons, gena and scape yellow. Remaining antennal articles pale brown. Vertex black. Mandibles reddish brown. Mesosoma dark red with black markings. Legs pale red. Wings yellow hyaline basally and black hyaline apically.
Male: Same as that of the female except, antennae with 13 articles of which last article is hooked and reaches base of the 10th article. Metasoma with 7 metasomal segments.
