Brief diagnosis

Eye with inner margin strongly emarginate. Mesosoma more or less flattened dorso-ventrally, distinctly longer than high. Mesoscutum without notauli. Mesoscutum with parategula. Mesepisternum with epicnemial carina present. Axillary fossa slit-like; propodeal valvula fused to submarginal carina, sub-marginal carina not produced as a pointed process above valvular. Fore wing with first discal cell longer than subbasal cell. Fore wing folded longitudinally. Fore wing with parastigma shorter than pterostigma. Tarsal claws bifid. Mid tibia with one spur. Metasoma petiolate, T1 in dorsal view usually longer, less than half as wide as T2 in dorsal view.
