Taxonomic position

Diagnosis

Body length 1.77 mm. Lower margin of clypeus incised medially; striae of clypeus extending to lower margin of eyes and to malar sulcus; mandibles with four teeth; head wide in dorsal view; sharp occipital carina. Forewing with marginal vein 1.7x stigmal vein.

Distribution

India: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Meghalaya, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.

Biology / Hosts

Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) and Pelopidas mathias (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae).
