Taxonomic position

Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Pteromalidae: Pteromalinae

Diagnosis

Head wider than mesosoma; lower margin of clypeus emarginate; antennae inserted distinctly above lower margin of eyes. Pronotum short, slightly carinate; mesoscutum with notauli incomplete; propodeum with short nucha and without carinae. Forewing with MV and PMV very long; hind tibia with one spur. Metasoma mostly with yellow and brown markings, longer than combined length of head and mesosoma.

Distribution

India: Kerala, Orissa, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

Associated with grasses.
