Diagnosis

Body stout and bluish green in colouration. Head and mesosoma in particular bluish green; metasoma brown with pronounced green metallic shine on first tergum. Head and mesosoma covered with distinct white pubescence. Clypeal margin with deep median incision. Antenna with 3 anelli and 5 funicular segments, first funicular segment as long as pedicel. Mesosoma convex, scutellum rounded at tip; propodeum reticulate and flat, without median carina and nucha. Fore wing with marginal vein almost three times and post marginal vein two times stigma vein. Metasoma sessile and elongate; hind tibia with 2 spurs.

Distribution

India: Kerala, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.

Biology / Hosts

Parasitic on curculionids attacking cotton, Amaranthus etc.
