Diagnosis
Dipara females have distinct gastral petiole, with at least one pair of setae or bristles on the lateral margins; mesoscutum with two pairs of long bristles; scutellum with at most 2 pairs of bristles, frenum distinctly separated; propodeum with distinct nucha; antennae with anellus broader than long and clypeus without tooth.

Distribution
India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Little Andaman), Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakand.
Biology / Hosts
Not known except for an undescribed Indian species (under Parurios) reared from a curculionid beetle feeding on the roots of Cyperus (Bouček, 1988).
