Nomenclature
Dicopomorpha Ogloblin, 1955: 387. Type species: Dicopomorpha macrocephala Ogloblin, by original designation.
Chromodicopus Ogoblin, 1955: 390. Type species: Chromodicopus pulchricornis Ogloblin, by original designation. Synonymy by Yoshimoto (1990: 27).
Dicopulus Ogoblin, 1955: 377. Type species: Dicopulus stramineus Ogloblin, by original designation. Synonymy by Yoshimoto (1990: 27).
Diagnosis
Dicopomorpha belongs to the Alaptus group of genera and can be identified by the following combination of characters.
- Female antenna (Figs. 4, 5) with funicle 7-segmented, sometimes 6-segmented, clava solid
- Mandibles (Figs. 6, 7) pointing towards each other and with two subequal teeth
- Posterior scutellum (Fig. 8) entire
- Fore wing (Fig. 9) relatively narrow, with posterior margin slightly curved towards apex but relatively straight medially, petiole well over half as wide as propodeum
- Gaster broadly sessile
Geographic Distribution
Worldwide, except western Palaearctic (Lin et al., 2008).

Hosts and habitat
Psocoptera (Lin et al., 2007).
