Diagnosis
- Body dorsoventrally flattened
- Funicle 6-segmented, clava entire
- Femora slightly swollen
- Fore wing, when present, parallel-sided, knifelike, at least about 8x as long as wide
- Ovipositor short and arising in apical third of gaster
Geographic Distribution
Worldwide, except western Palaearctic (Lin et al., 2007). See Indian distribution map.

Hosts and habitat
Unknown. But adults associated with leaf litter and bracket fungi. Elsewhere recorded from eggs of Acrididae (Orthoptera) (Noyes and Valentine, 1989); unspecified species of Ciidae (Coleoptera: Ciidae) (Triapitsyn and Moraal, 2008).

Undetermined species, collected from Meghalaya (Rameshkumar and Poorani, 2013) (first report from Meghalaya).
