DiagnosisFemale: Head, pedicel and scape of antenna and all pairs of legs reddish brown; mesosoma dark pitchy brown to black; metasoma black; ovipositor basally reddish brown, apically darker; wings with dark brown veins.

Hosts / BiologyThis species is a common parasitoid of larvae of cerambycid beetles (Coleoptera). Attempts are being made to use it in the augmentative biological control of the coffee white stem borer, Xylotrechus quadripes Chevrolat, in South India.
