Diagnosis
Female: Body more or less uniform yellowish-orange; antenna with scape and pedicel yellowish brown, F1-F3 slightly darker, yellowish brown, F4-6 white, club black; legs more or less yellowish, tarsi slightly lighter; metanotum dark brown, gaster anteriorly dark brownish with a metallic shine. Scutellum strongly convex and dome-shaped, with dark brown to black setae. Frontovertex at least about 4x as long as broad. Forewing with dark and hyaline patches, distal hyaline band interrupted in the middle by the mesal extension of the proximal margin of apical infuscation, the hyaline band thus
divided into two elongate-triangular areas.

Distribution
India: Karnataka; Kerala; Tamil Nadu; Uttar Pradesh. Sri Lanka. Pakistan. Australia. New Zealand.
Hawaii (Hayat, 2006).
Hosts / Biology
An endoparasitoid of soft scales (Hemiptera: Coccidae). Recorded hosts include Coccus
hesperidum, Lecanium sp., Parasaissetia nigra, Saissetia coffeae, S. oleae, Saissetia sp., Pulvinaria sp. and ?Rastrococcus iceryoides on various host plants (Hayat, 2006).
