Body dorsally somewhat compressed. Clypeus arcuate, maxillary palpi 3-segmented. Antennal formula in female 1153, without anelli, but F1 and F3 anelliform, club with three distinct spines; antenna in male monilliform. Fore tibiae stout and compressed, armed with stout spines; hind tibiae slightly compressed.

Members of this genus are parasitoids of gall midges (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae).
