Diagnosis

Female: Length: 1.33 mm. Body pale to bright lemon yellow dorsally to yellowish white on sides and ventral side, thorax and abdomen with a longitudinal black band along the entire length from pronotum to abdominal tergite 6, tergite 7 with a large, dark brown patch. Antenna pale yellow, lightly infuscate yellowish brown distally on scape, pedicel and flagellum. Forewing hyaline, slightly infuscate at stigmal vein. Legs pale yellowish (based on Hayat, 1998).

Distribution

India: Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh (Hayat, 1998; label data).

Hosts / Biology

A parasitoid of Ceroplastes pseudoceriferus, Anomalococcus crematogasteri, Chloropulvinaria sp., Coccus sp., Eriococcus lagerstromiae, etc. on various hosts (Hayat, 1998).
