Female strongly convex with prominent submarginal depression. Wax very soft and colour pure white to light creamy yellow. With bands of opaque white wax arising from the stigmatic clefts. In old females the submarginal depression gets eliminated and female becomes almost hemispherical. Wax comes out easily if touched. After complete removal of the wax the female looks bright red with strong dark brown caudal process with darker broad base and lighter tapering tip.
