Taxonomy

Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Chalcididae: Haltichellinae

Diagnosis

Antenna inserted high, more than half of scape above mouth level (Fig. 2).
Marginal vein of forewing slightly removed from anterior margin, post marginal vein lacking, stigmal vein rudimentary (Fig. 3).
Scutellum subglobose (Fig. 5).
Hind femur with sharp tooth in distal third, short comb behind the tooth and hind tibia with additional extra carina (Fig. 4).
First tergite anteriorly with transverse crust, behind crust many longitudinal striae present.

Biology / Hosts

Biology: Lepidoptera: Arctiidae and Pterophoridae.

Distribution

South East Asia - India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
