Taxonomy

Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Chalcididae: Haltichellinae

Diagnosis

First tergite of gaster with distinct basal fovea in the middle.
Base of gaster with two distinct carinae, delimiting the basal fovea on side (Fig. 2).

Biology / Hosts

Parasitic mainly on Lepidoptera and Coleoptera (to some extent).

Distribution

Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and Pacific Islands.
