Diagnosis

Head and body stouter and more pubescent than in Haltichella.
Head as wide as or subequal to width of mesosoma with well developed preorbital carinae; scrobe narrow; preorbital carinae on vertex faintly represented behind front ocellus.
Mesoscutum and scutellum more convex than in typical Haltichella.
Ventral margin of hind femur without a prominent dent.
Metasoma without basal carinae.
